We are a private limited company founded in 2007 and based in London.
Our name is derived from the Latin word temperantia, meaning moderation, and is itself derived from the word tempo meaning time.
We recognise the vital importance of maintaining good relationships with employees. The introduction of any form of productivity tracking tends, by its very nature, to be a sensitive area that requires careful handling.
We provide guidance and advice to all clients to help them prepare for, and deal with, all questions or issues that commonly arise.
Our services and technology are designed around three core values which help to balance the interests of employers and staff:
Transparency:We do not undertake secret surveillance of employee activities. Before the client software is first employed, all staff are fully informed about our system and how it works. All staff are able to view all of the information held about them at any time via a secure and easy-to-use web based interface.
Privacy:We believe employees should be entitled to communicate with privacy. Only the minimum amount of information required for productivity measurement is collected. We do not record keystrokes, screenshots, email content or transcripts of Instant Messaging conversations. Our client software also allows users to suspend monitoring for a predefined period, logging the time of the suspension but no details of the user's activity.
Confidentiality:Our secure, web-based system ensures that access to reports is carefully controlled. This ensures that managers can view reports relating to their teams but employees cannot view information relating to their peers.
