Temperus Client setup on Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger
These same instructions may also be useful if you are using the 10.5 Leopard version of Mac OSX.

When the download is complete, extract and double click the "Temperus Client.dmg"
Double click and "Temperus Client" program and it installs itself on the system menu, near the clock.
The first time the program runs, it asks if you want to start Temperus automatically when you log in. You should answer "Yes" so the client runs automatically the next time you turn your Mac on.
Click the small blue icon and then select "Open Temperus Client" to open the main program window.
Then click "Activate" and enter your user name and password.
Finally, to work properly, the Temperus client uses the operating system’s accessibility features, so you have to ensure that option is activated on the system preferences.
To ensure the accessibility is available to Temperus, follow these simple steps:
Select the "System Preferences" option on the dock.
Then select the option "Universal Access"...
Then ensure the option "Enabled access for assistive devices" is checked.
Using the Software
The program records the websites you visit, the pages you go to and the amount of time spent on each page. It does not record passwords or any other information.
This information is encoded and sent securely over the Internet to the Temperus server.
You can see when the client is running as a small icon is displayed in the top right corner of the screen:
You can temporarily suspend this recording if you wish. To do so, right-click on the icon and select "Private Time". Select the period for which you would like to suspend the recording and click OK. You will see the icon turn red. Recording will cease at the end of the selected period. Note that the client will start running each time you restart your PC.
To view your usage charts, go to the Temperus website and click on Members' Area.
Removing the Software
To remove the software, simply delete the bundle you downloaded from our website. You just have to ensure the client is not running when you delete the bundle.
